Redress Scheme

From 1st October 2014 letting and managing agents must become a member of a redress scheme. The purpose of these schemes is to deal with complaints made by tenants or landlords about agents. Essentially these are Ombudsman Schemes.

Client Money Protection Scheme

From 1st April 2019 client money (such as rent and deposit monies) which is received by agents must be protected. We are active members of CPM. Trading Standards will be enforcing this legal obligation.
